In Taste Peru, we are committed to deliver the best experience for our guests, showcasing the cultural diversity of our country through our gastronomy, taking you on a trip across its history and learning about professional cooking techniques in our fully equipped cooking studio where you'll prepare a delicious full meal always guided by our experienced chef.

COOKING CLASS - OUR CONCEPT

Be immersed into a fascinating trip to the San Pedro Market, where you’ll be introduced to a vast variety of local and ancient products, learn about the history behind them and their impact in today modern Peruvian gastronomy. Later, we’ll invite you to our cozy cooking studio, located inside a colonial times house (two blocks away from the market), where you’ll step back in time to enjoy a modern Peruvian cooking class guided by a professional Peruvian chef and rounding up all we saw at the market.

We offer two daily cooking experiences carefully design to cater your needs.

Lunch

9am. - 1pm.

Dinner

3pm. - 7pm.

*All our menus can be adapted to special dietary needs.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

During your 4 hour gastronomical experience, we'll provide:

  1. An advanced english speaking professional chef and guide.
  2. A fully immersive one tour across the local San Pedro Market.
  3. A three hours hands-on cooking class in our private Cooking Studio.
  4. Pisco Sour making class.
  5. Hands on opportunity to create a three course andean/peruvian inspired meal.
  6. Exotic fruit tasting dessert.
  7. All ingredients and equipment.
  8. Bottled water.

I’m a Peruvian chef trained in Sydney - Australia at the prestigious "Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School". With work experience in high-end hotels and restaurants in Sydney and Miami. Currently settled in Cuzco-Perú, advocated to showcase the cultural diversity and richness of my country in our fully professionally equipped cooking studio, combining traditional Andean recipes and modern techniques giving our dishes a contemporary twist adapted to the most exquisite palates.
